I saw on the news yesterday that the temperature in Dallas was 33 and in New York is was 68!
Love that snow – wish we’d get some, too!
Loved the snow last night. And yes, we are crazy Texans when it comes to snow this far south. Did you send that picture to channel 13? I could have sworn I saw those crazy kids on the TV this morning.
Wow! Have your kids ever seen snow before?!!
we haven’t even had any here in D.c. yet!
Yea, we Houstonians are a little crazy when we get snow this far south! Hubby went out about 10:00 and took pictures. He was like a little kid! Did you send your pics to channel 13? I could have sworn I saw those crazy kids on the news this morning!
Yes, it snowed here on Christmas Eve three years ago in 2004. But the snows are few and far between in Houston.
Uh, that would be four years ago. I’d better go do some math with the urchins.
One of my grandsons was really proud of the snowman he built last night during the few minutes it snowed in my part of north Houston. He even called me on the phone about it. Today I saw a picture of it and found out that it was about the size of an ice cream cone.
Needless to say, this was not one of the parts of town that got a measurable snowfall.
But it was the first time he ever saw snow falling and he will remember it forever (he’s seven years old).
It sure never snowed when we lived in Houston (1998 to 2000). Glad the family enjoyed it.
[...] Mostly we learned about snow this week. We saw, we experienced, we froze. I’m still freezing, and it’s supposed to [...]
Posting pictures of your kids now? You MUST have gone a little crazy!
So fun to see your family!
