I’m Not Boycotting Target . . .

at least not officially, not consciously. Subconsciously, however, I think that lately I head toward Wal-mart or the mall or somewhere else instead of of good old Tarjay. It just seems to me that not only did they make a bad marketing decision, but they will not change their minds in spite of all the negative feedback. Why not? Why are they willing to lose money and customers over this? What does this stubbornness say about the decision-makers at Target?

  1. I don’t mind it. A Target spokesman said they had gotten an increase in solicitation requests and felt they needed to nip it all in the bud before it got out of hand.
