1. What do you like most about where you live?
I like being able to go and see so many things: the children’s museum, the zoo, the space center, libraries, plays, concerts.
3. What’s one of your all-time favourite music albums, and why?
I tend to have favorite songs, not favorite albums. I really like the soundtrack album from Fellowship of the Ring. Maybe that’s my favorite.
4. Did you have a passion for something as a kid that you still have now? (If not – what is one of your passions now?)
Reading. I’ve always loved to read, ever since I learned to read at age six.
5. What do you like most about having a blog?
I like to think that someone somewhere is reading something I wrote. It’s just fun to communicate like this with all sorts of people all over the world.
I don’t think any of those things are strange, given that I’m a West Texas girl born and raised (Abilene). I even had the leather notebook! Now I live in Arlington–home of Six Flags, the Texas Rangers and soon the Dallas (?) Cowboys.
Yee Haw!
I love the Fellowship music — that Hobbiton theme gets me every time. We heard it live, with Howard Shore conducting. It was terrific.

I would like to visit the space center – having only seen it in the movies. I am thinking I need to visit Texas – I read blogs by people in Texas.
I haven’t heard the Fellowship of the Ring Soundtrack but anything LOR goes down well with a Kiwi.
Thanks Sherry.
